Weight Loss Help That Is Tailored To You

Do you know how much weight that you need to lose? When you start on a diet you set a target in mind and a timescale to reach it in.  The target may be to lose a certain amount of weight of to fit in a particular dress size and the timescale may by the time you go on holiday or a year from now.

Factors In Losing Weight

Many diets start off with a set amount of calories per week and this doesn’t change throughout the diet.  If you have tried these diets before and they haven’t worked it can be very demoralising and stop you dieting full stop. “I’ve tried every diet under the sun and nothing seems to work” is a statement that we have heard from people who want to make a change and have come to us for help. Why is this the case?

Every Dieter Is Different

If the diet that you are on isn’t working, or suddenly stops working, what is going on? After all, if you reduce calories and exercise more, the weight should fall off, right? We’ve even said similar in this blog so it must be true.

Yes, it should, but every dieter and diet is different. That’s why we have a team of experts at Weight Medics to guide all our weight loss customers.  On our various plans we offer:

  • An expert doctor to manage your programme
  • A monthly full Body Composition Analysis which tells you your Basal Metabolic Rate, in other words how many calories your body burns each day so the doctor can work out what your daily calorie intake should be to enable steady, sustainable weight loss
  • The doctor will advise you on what to change within your eating plan to achieve the right daily food intake
  • You’ll also learn your body fat percentage, your Fat Free Mass, the amount of visceral fat that you have and your metabolic age, i.e. whether you have the metabolism of a younger or older person than your current age
  • Based on your Basal Metabolic rate, the doctor will advise what you can add to each meal to make up your Personal Food Plan
  • As your weight comes down and your general level of fitness improves, your Basal Metabolic Rate should increase, so the doctor can add more food to your daily intake while still maintaining weight loss!

Personal Encouragement To Lose Weight

With our help and guidance and your effort, targets and timescales won’t seem so far away after all!

Losing Weight – I’m Too Busy To Lose Weight

by Annelouise on February 28, 2012

Weight Management and Weight Loss

Where do you find the time?!

Where do you find the time? Get up, run round, get ready for work, commute in, get to work, get work done, battle through the traffic on the way home, get home, do chores, catch up on friends and family, sit down for a minute, next thing it’s bedtime and the evening has gone. Or get up, get the kids up, get everyone organised, sort out the school run, work or home during the day and so on and so on and so on. It’s exhausting just thinking about it never mind doing it!

Where’s The Time For Exercise?

If you haven’t got time to fit your lifestyle around exercise and healthy eating then you can try to fit exercise and healthy eating around your lifestyle.

  • If you use public transport, get off one stop early and walk the extra distance
  • If you drive to work and parking is available, park further away from the office
  • Go for a walk at lunchtime
  • Use the stairs instead of lifts and escalators
  • Prepare snacks in advance and carry them with you
  • Make double when cooking and freeze half

Finding Time For Food

Do you have time to make menu plans, write out ingredients lists, shop for food and make it all?  Not to mention finding time to actually sit down and eat it! We often hear from people who have come to us for help that they don’t have the time to stick to a diet and that often it is hard to eat healthily and exercise.

A Diet For Busy People

We listened to our clients and came up with a new plan – The Platinum Plan.  It includes:

  • Doctor approved, calorie counted, portion controlled real food delivered to your home or office
  • The food is cooked fresh, then sealed into special containers without artificial preservatives.
  • Meals can be stored at ambient temperature and, when you are ready to eat, just pop the food in a pan or a microwave, add the extras that the doctor has suggested and you’re ready to eat
  • There’s a huge choice of meals in your monthly hamper which includes 28 breakfasts, 28 lunches, 28 dinners and 28 snacks.

Making Diets Easier

Life is busy, and so are you! If you think that our plan would help you, you can make an appointment with one of our experts who will give you advice on the best weight loss plan to help you meet your goals.
